Home Opener Wont be Home this Year
It looks as though the Maine Black Bears are going to play their home opener at Husson College. Husson has a turf field that held up better than Mahaney Diamond to the weather. The Maine players will be heading over to Husson's field to help clean off the remaining snow. Maine will host the New York Tech Brown Bears this weekend. They have not played NYIT yet this year. Their first set of games were cancelled due to the weather so the two teams are really looking forward to playing. It looks as though that the state of Maine is in for some good weather this week. Husson is only 15 minutes away from Orono so come out and support the Black Bears are Friday.
